Medication App Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy applies to Medication App for Android, currently identified by package com.aistudio.medicationlog.mxjkw. The application may appear in the interface as Medication Journal. It is designed as a local-first journal for factual medication intake records and does not require a Medication App account.

Information stored by the app

Depending on the features you use, the app may store medication names and descriptors, saved amount presets, intake amounts and units, local dates and times, reminder settings, app preferences, and local diagnostic events. These records are stored in the app's local storage on your Android device.

Medication App does not determine whether a medication or dosage is medically appropriate. It records information you choose to enter.

No developer telemetry or advertising

Medication App is not designed to send medication records, intake history, local diagnostic events, analytics, advertising identifiers, or usage telemetry to Adz Dev Coding. The app does not require registration, login, a developer-operated cloud database, or advertising.

The inspected application source does not declare Android's INTERNET permission. This means the app is not designed to make general Internet connections for its journal workflows.

Local diagnostics

The app may keep a small, bounded local record of events such as screen changes, dialog actions, success or failure states, session start or background events, and unclean exits. These diagnostics are stored on the device and are intended for local troubleshooting. They are not automatically sent to Adz Dev Coding.

Exports and imports

You may choose to export intake history as CSV, export a JSON backup, or export the local SQLite database. You choose the destination through Android or, where supported, a local Documents location. A destination may be local storage or a third-party document provider such as a cloud-storage app selected by you.

Once an exported file leaves the app's private storage, it is controlled by the destination you selected and that provider's terms. Exported files may contain sensitive medication and intake information. Store and share them carefully.

JSON import replaces the current local journal with the data contained in the selected backup after the app processes the file. Medication App does not upload the imported file to Adz Dev Coding.

Notifications and alarms

The app may request notification permission and exact-alarm access for optional medication reminders. These permissions allow Android to display scheduled reminders on your device. They do not give Adz Dev Coding access to your medication journal.

You can review or revoke notification and alarm permissions in Android settings. Some reminder behavior may stop if the permissions are not granted.

Android backup and device transfer

The application currently allows Android backup and uses Android's backup and data-extraction framework. Depending on your device, Android version, account settings, and manufacturer services, Android may back up or transfer app data. These platform operations are controlled by Android and the relevant service provider, not by Adz Dev Coding.

To reduce retention through those services, review your Android backup and device-transfer settings. Clearing app data or uninstalling does not necessarily remove copies already held by a platform backup or an exported file you created.

Retention and deletion

Local records remain on the device until you delete them through app behavior, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app, subject to Android backup and restore behavior. Exported CSV, JSON, and SQLite files must be deleted separately from the location where you saved them.

Local diagnostic records may be cleared by app behavior. Clearing diagnostics does not delete medication or intake records.

Support communications

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to answer the request and retain it only as reasonably necessary for support, security, recordkeeping, and applicable legal obligations.

Do not email medication databases, backup files, real medication histories, credentials, or unrelated private documents unless they are genuinely required and you understand what they contain.

Children, medical boundary, and policy changes

Medication App is not designed specifically for children. It is a personal recordkeeping tool and does not provide diagnosis, dosage recommendations, adherence judgments, clinical interpretation, or emergency services.

We may update this policy when the app, permissions, platform requirements, or data practices change. The current version will remain at this URL with an updated effective date.
